i started making plushies about a year ago and after i completed my first one my husband said to me, "wow, that's really good. you know who you should make next? a little namor. for ME." i promised i would soon.... and that was almost a year ago. D:
needless to say, he finally deserved his plushie. my husband has very patiently trailed behind me at fabric stores holding giant bolts of fabric, gone on hot glue runs and helped me pick out patterns. he's stayed patient with me while i get crafting-cranky, and was pivotal in every plushie i've made.
this is my first plushie with hair (!) and my husband was very specific about how he wanted it. he was also adamant that namor have his pointed ears (i was against it from the beginning because it doesn't match any of my others, but he argued namor needed a defining characteristic.) i am aware that the outfit isn't completely accurate, we took some artistic liberties here and there.
most importantly, he has the widows peak, the pointy ears and cocky smile. that's namor all right.
